Frontiers in Neuroscience "Development and neuroplasticity of the visual system, amblyopia and beyond"

A new special issue of Frontiers in Neuroscience, “Development and neuroplasticity of the visual system, amblyopia and beyond,” brings together recent research spanning cellular, behavioural, and clinical approaches to visual development and plasticity. The collection highlights the increasingly broad view of amblyopia as a disorder affecting more than visual acuity, with contributions addressing perceptual distortions, binocular vision, suppression, neural plasticity, and recovery.

The Research Topic was edited by network members Kevin Duffy, Alex Baldwin, Anna Kosovicheva, Benjamin Thompson, and Krista Kelly, representing four Canadian institutions.
