Anna Kosovicheva

Dr. Kosovicheva received her BA and PhD in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, before completing a postdoctoral fellowship at Northeastern University, where she studied visual localization, eye movements, and binocular vision impairments. She joined the Department of Psychology at the University of Toronto Mississauga in 2021 and directs the Applied Perception and Psychophysics Laboratory (APPLY). Her research focuses on spatial vision, binocular vision, and eye movements, with particular interests in visual localization, amblyopia, and strabismus. She uses visual psychophysics to improve the assessment of visual function in individuals with visual impairments and studies perception in everyday tasks such as driving and reading.
