Kevin Duffy

He completed his PhD at McMaster University, then did post-doctoral training at Harvard Medical School. His lab at Dalhousie investigates factors that govern development of the visual system, and that regulate neural plasticity across the lifespan. He and his collaborators have leveraged principles of synaptic plasticity to develop a novel treatment for amblyopia that involves pharmacological retinal inactivation.
