McGill University, Montréal (2022)

In July 2022, the Canadian Amblyopia Network met in Montreal for a two-day meeting bringing together researchers working on amblyopia and binocular vision.

The first day was devoted to scientific presentations and posters covering topics including binocular balance, interocular suppression, stereopsis, visual development, and vision screening. The second day focused on strategic planning for the network, with discussion of its future structure, opportunities for data sharing, development of a network website, and plans for future meetings. The meeting provided an opportunity both to share ongoing research and to begin shaping the future direction of the Canadian Amblyopia Network.

The 2022 Montreal meeting was supported by the Vision Science Research Network (VSRN) of the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé (FRQS).
